1. What we collect

We collect only what the service actually needs:

• Account details: the student's name, grade and email address, and the guardian's name and contact number.
• Location basics: city, country, time zone and fee currency, so class times and fees display correctly for you.
• Learning records: classes, weekly slots, sessions marked delivered, and reschedule requests.
• Payment records: the invoice, the reference we issue, and the payment date and reference you tell us you used.
• Messages: what you send through Contact, and the notices and updates we send you.
• Teacher records: qualifications, experience, subjects, grades and weekly availability, collected to verify who teaches your child.
• Technical data: sign-in times and error logs needed to keep the platform secure and working.

2. What we do not collect

We do not take card or bank account numbers. Payment is by bank transfer directly to the academy, and the only payment information stored here is the reference and date you enter yourself.

We do not track your browsing across other websites, we do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell personal information to anyone.

3. Why we hold it

To arrange and run lessons, to match students with the right teacher, to show each family their schedule and fees, to verify payments, to pay teachers for the sessions they have delivered, to answer messages, and to keep the platform secure.

Where the law requires a basis for processing, ours is the contract with you set out in the User Agreement, together with our legitimate interest in running a safe service.

4. Children's information

An account is opened and controlled by a parent or guardian, and we ask for the minimum needed to teach a child well.

There are no public profiles. A student's details are never displayed to other families, and we do not use children's information for marketing or profiling of any kind.

5. Who can see what

• Teachers see only the students in their own classes — name, grade, guardian contact and attendance. They do not see your fees, payments or other classes.
• Academy administrators see accounts, classes, invoices and payouts, because verifying payments and arranging classes is their job.
• Other families see nothing about you. Group classmates see only a class size, not names.

6. Services we rely on

Running the platform means a small number of other companies process data on our behalf:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the platform's data.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account. We receive your name, email address and profile picture; we never receive your Google password.
• The meeting platform your teacher uses for lessons, such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Joining a lesson takes you onto that provider, and their own privacy policy applies while you are there.

7. Recording lessons

The academy does not record lessons. If a teacher ever needs to record one — to send to a student who was ill, for example — we will ask the guardian first and will not record without agreement.

8. Keeping information safe

• Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; nobody at the academy can read them.
• New teachers set their own password through a one-time invite link, so the academy never knows it.
• What each person can see is limited by their role, and every dashboard checks that on the server.
• Access to the database is restricted to the administrators who need it.

9. How long we keep it

We keep account, class and attendance records while the account is open. After an account closes we keep them for up to two years, in case a family returns or a question arises about a past lesson, and then delete them.

Payment and payout records are kept for as long as accounting rules require.

10. Your choices

You can correct most details yourself on the Profile page. For anything else — a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion of an account — write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Deleting an account removes the family's personal details. Records we must keep for accounting, such as invoices, are retained as described above.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with a new date, and tell you on your dashboard when the change matters to you.
